About Me

The people I am passionate about working with the most are those that use words like “depressed”, “anxious”, “fearful”, “traumatized”, “stifled”, “lost”, “hopeless”, and/or “paralyzed in life”. As a result, you have become unable to move forward in life with any sort of real plan that excites you. You are just floating through life. The next thing you know, 1 year….5 years…10 years have passed, and you are disappointed with where you are. You are at the point where life feels overwhelming and hard. As much as you want to move forward in life, you aren’t sure of how to even get started doing that.

Even though all of this mental and emotional pain is occurring, there is also something simultaneously tugging at you that desires and hopes for something different. There is this tiny part of you that says there has to be a way out of that dark, overwhelming hole that you currently call life. Deep down, you want more for yourself even if it is only starting as a small glimmer of hope.

This is where our work together comes into play. My approach to helping the people I work with is based on the belief that no two people are ever just alike. Your needs and the help you deserve will be treated with an individualized plan, not a cookie cutter one. You need a plan that is going to work specifically for YOU. I draw from several theories that include cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, strength based therapy, solution focused, and experiential trainings.

When I picture someone struggling with feeling defeated, beat down by life, and perhaps even hopeless, my heart goes out to you. Please know that there are people out there, such as myself, that want to help you get back on your feet. Not only do I want you back on your feet, but I also hope that you live life from a joyous and powerful place. So, lets start that journey today. If not now, when?
